Both are community-made resources for learning more about specific aspects of Elite: Dangerous. Two other excellent resources are the Elite Dangerous Wiki and ED Tutorials. ![]() You can also access many of these official resources from the top right of the game launcher. However, this manual hasn’t been updated since 2017, so some aspects of the UI and gameplay have now changed. There’s also a comprehensive old-school game manual in PDF format that does a decent job of covering controls, HUD, flight, travel, combat, and basic game mechanics/concepts. If you haven’t already, I recommend checking out the Elite: Dangerous community page, where you will find a series of tutorial videos, patch notes, and some general information on different aspects of the game.
